As mail-in ballots continue to be counted, Sophie Hahn, the incumbent for Berkeley City Council District 5, is projected to be reelected, with 76.66% of the vote as of press time, defeating Todd Andrew and Paul Darwin Picklesimer, who currently have won 19.08% and 3.96%, respectively.

Sophie Hahn is a well-rounded councilmember with a list of achievements worthy of reelection. Ger work has made Berkeley a better place. 

The ASUC Vote Coalition and ASUC Office of the External Affairs Vice President hosted a debate Tuesday between District 5 Berkeley City Council candidates Sophie Hahn, vice mayor and City Council member, and Todd Andrew, a real estate consultant.

Todd Andrew, a real estate consultant who has lived in North Berkeley for 20 years, is running for the District 5 spot on the Berkeley City Council this November.
