I’m one of those people who was always caught off guard when daylight savings time would start and stop. I never knew which two days of the year it fell on, it always just suddenly creeped up on me.

Being in Berkeley this summer has me thinking about what I miss about the summer heat. But here's the catch — I don't really miss too much about it.

Whether you're pale or feeling blue, going outside might just be the best thing for you! There are so many benefits to soaking up some sunshine.

Here, then, is my last toast to you, Berkeley. For giving to make me glutted and enriched in my soul, for teaching me to treasure the sun so much.
