Despite an increase in the number of candidates in the past ASUC election, previous candidates noted that a lack of resources was not a problem they faced in their campaigns. 

Hearings for petitions against two ASUC presidential candidates are scheduled to occur April 21, and with discussion of these petitions and the 2023 ASUC general election still in the air, questions about the role of the ASUC Judicial Council arise.
