My advice to anyone reading this — try it out! While it’s tempting (and obviously okay to do sometimes!) to zone out and go on Snapchat or Instagram while walking to class, looking at our beautiful campus is a worthwhile and mood-improving activity!

Despite their relatively industrial setting and proximity to Chicago, the dunes have a level of biodiversity that rivals even the state of Hawaii. Any bird watcher, hiker, swimmer or general nature lover should put this park on their to-see list!
