Curtis, who is the director of UC Berkeley’s Gender Equity Resource Center, or GenEq, was selected by the SF Pride Board of Directors as a community Grand Marshal of this year’s parade. Curtis has been a persistent advocate for transforming culture and thought processes about gender and sexuality on the UC Berkeley campus and in the local community.
