Proposition 18

Out of the 12 propositions on the ballot, three have been approved by voters and five have failed while the rest remain uncertain, as of press time.

Prop. 18 is worth a “yes” vote on merit of its fairness alone. But there is also a case to be made that Prop. 18 would make for a healthier democracy.

If passed this November, Proposition 18 will allow 17-year-old California residents to participate in a full election cycle if they reach age 18 by the next general election.
