While Cal went into the weekend with a four-game losing streak, it turned its around momentum with a resounding 4-0 victory over UCLA and a thrilling 4-3 comeback against USC.

With four consecutive losses — most recently a loss on the road against Utah — and a 1-2 conference record, the Bears will be looking to win both matches if they want to turn their momentum around and have a winning record in the Pac-12.

Cal splits its matches against No. 23 UCLA and No. 8 USC and looks to carry on some of the weekend’s positives into the Big Slam against No. 12 Stanford.

The 2-1 Cal men’s tennis team begins its Pac-12 season this weekend at home taking on No. 23 UCLA on Saturday and No. 8 USC on Sunday.
