Open Letter

For so long, I wanted to be the “hot girl” we see on TikTok and Instagram, but I couldn’t be, or I simply wasn’t. But why?

From now on, I’m going to treat my boobs like gifts because they are. As superficial as it may be, I see them as a cornerstone to my womanhood. I’m proud as hell to be a woman!

I can’t tell if I’m drowning in your eyes, your inconsistent outages, your endless stream of work or the evenings that slowly get darker.

You can be really great, Berkeley weather, but it'd be nice if you were more consistent. Just don't overdo it with scorching sunshine or buckets of rain.

Dear Midterms, We'll be completely honest with you. We're done with you. We can't take the late nights of crying, constant stressing and wondering if you'll curve us or not.
