Carolyn Bertozzi and John Clauser — two former Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, or Berkeley Lab, scientists— were awarded 2022 Nobel Prizes in Chemistry and Physics respectively this week.

Scientists at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of Massachusetts Amherst created the first aqueous robots that can run continuously without electricity.

Reaching the “fundamental limit” proposed by physicists years ago, UC Berkeley associate professor in materials science and engineering Jie Yao and his team created a thinner two-dimensional magnet.
