Cal men's water polo was unable to hold onto its win streak and the pool bled gold and blue as it went 0-2 last weekend.

After ending their regular season on a high note, the No. 1 Bears swept the postseason conference awards for the first time in 13 years.

The blue and gold seized the senior day and closed out their regular season with a massive victory over the Bruins.

The No. 1 Bears may have won the Big Splash, but they can’t let their guard down just yet, for there is another old rival waiting with scores to settle: No. 3 UCLA.

Although they were defeated in two out of the last three games, the blue and gold came back with a stunning victory against No. 1 USC, outsmarting the Trojans in their home territory.

Over the weekend, the No. 4 Bears squeezed by the Aggie shootout to remain undefeated and secure head coach Kirk Everist's 400th career win.

Cal conquers another weekend with convincing wins against San Jose State and the University of Pacific, keeping its undefeated record of 6-0 intact.

To put its dominance into perspective, Cal outscored its opponents by a whopping 9.25 margin; moreover, only one out of four teams was able to score in the double digits against the Bears.

Cal played a total of four matches this weekend, all against both of its Southern California rivals: UCLA and USC.
