More than a week after the 2022 midterm elections, the Alameda County Registrar's Office has finalized the counting of ballots with the election results for both Alameda County and the city of Berkeley being released Friday.

Current board president Ka’Dijah Brown leads with 27.52% of the vote as of press time. Meanwhile, Jennifer Shanoski captured 21.9% of the vote with Mike Chang and Reichi Lee close behind at 21.73% and 21.16%, respectively.
