Ana Vasudeo — a local mother, first-generation graduate from Cornell University and strong advocate for closing the achievement gap — is running for the 2020 board of Berkeley Unified School District.

Closest to home are the three city measures, all of which focus on public schooling. The Committee for Berkeley Public Schools has been mobilizing in support of Measures E, G and H.

City Measures E, H and G have passed on the March 3 ballot. All three were put forward by the Berkeley Unified School District, or BUSD, Board of Education.
