A series of contract negotiations were approved by the Berkeley Federation of Teachers, or BFT,  Wednesday that will change teacher salaries and classroom sizes. 

The Berkeley Unified School District, or BUSD, board held their bi-monthly meeting Wednesday to discuss Latinx Heritage Month, employee health care and mental health, among other topics. 

To meet their students' needs and fund books and special projects, BUSD teachers have resorted to crowdfunding to obtain classroom resources.
