The Bears are on an impressive five-game winning streak after dropping their first two games of the season to Harvard and UConn.

With the NBA preseason looking to officially begin today, here are four NBA players looking to make some noise before the official season begins.

A year after being left off Team USA, Brown poured in a game-high 35 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. If Team USA hadn’t been blown out by 31 to Team World, Brown most likely would have been the game’s MVP.

The two Jays have quickly become fan favorites across the NBA. Both are extremely versatile wings who can slot up or down a position. Two-way players have become a premium in today’s NBA, and the 3-and-D role player has become an especially valuable commodity. Luckily for the Celtics, both Brown and Tatum are projected to become two-way studs.

Prior to the injury, Rodgers looked like the elite gunslinger who brought home a championship, totaling 1367 yards and 13 touchdowns while completing 67 percent of his passes in his first five games. In those five games, Green Bay had a record of 4-1.

The NBA season is upon us. With it oh-so-close, we’re getting hyped for the slam dunks and excessive referee calls that are sure to come.

Bird and Brown are the first alumni of Cal men’s basketball to become teammates since Jason Kidd and Lamond Murray were members of the 2005-06 New Jersey Nets.

As a second-year player, Brown likely doesn’t immediately jump into Boston’s starting rotation when next season begins, but considering the current roster composition, the Bradley-trade puts Brown in the best position possible to start down the road.
