Graduate Student Assembly

UC Berkeley announced the Graduate Division Caregiver Grant for graduate students who are primary live-in caregivers of an adult classified as a dependent. 

In these times of tumultuous political tension the greater Berkeley community all turn to Christ (with a critical eye) in hopes of bureaucratic redemption.

Engaging with graduate and professional students does not undercut the important work around undergraduate education.

Recently, the Graduate Student Assembly and the ASUC have addressed this issue by passing resolutions targeting faculty diversity. The assembly passed a bill in April endorsing the election of graduate students to participate in the faculty hiring process.

The federal government will no longer be covering interest on graduate student loans, and will also remove the six month interest grace period included with these student loans.
