The second-to-last episode of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” has finally grounded the series in exploring the chaos of high school theater — the primary reason its first season garnered positive attention.

It seems that dance battles and duets won’t suffice for the two clubs to “work this out.” It will take an award and, naturally, many more musical numbers to end this rivalry once and for all. 

The Wildcats are in full party-planning mode, making centerpieces, decorating Seb’s barn and of course, preparing routines to perform at the quinceañero Carlos has always wanted. 

The fourth episode of the second season presents a both literally and metaphorically dark and stormy atmosphere as the crew works through conflict while being trapped inside East High School during an intense snowstorm.
