In typical teenage fashion, my angst and stubbornness made me villainize my father for simply wanting me to be a better student and a better person. I wanted to just be young and careless, but my dad always knew I was destined for more. I am so proud to be my father’s daughter.

I’m the first to admit that I wasn’t the best daughter, friend or sister during that period. And yet, the people I was closest to offered me reconciliation – the bridges I burned could be rebuilt.

I was lucky enough to watch Black Widow kick butt on the big screen, and I felt inspired to be as courageous and tough as her in my daily life.
