Performing her sophomore album Five Seconds Flat, Pennsylvanian local McAlpine has been on the road since July for her first headline tour.

Though she only released her first EP Indigo in 2018, the 22-year-old Philly-raised singer illustrates her expertise with her latest project, which manages to be both nebulous and striking, its effervescence effortlessly pervasive. 

Onstage, Ashe was unapologetically vulnerable, allowing concertgoers to let down their guards and surrender to the authenticity of the Fault Line Tour.

It takes risks, it breaks form, and it remains true to what it is — notes on humanity, notes on love, and notes on family. 

Accompanied by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and — as always — her brother-producer Finneas, Eilish pays tribute to both her hometown and the decades of musical icons that have come before her through a beautiful, hourlong sequential recital of the 16-track LP.
