The Undergraduate Political Science Association hosted a forum for ASUC Senate candidates to present their platforms in front of the general undergraduate public Tuesday night.

When Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor visited campus Thursday, she walked off the stage and into the crowd, answering questions, shaking hands and giving hugs to audience members. Sotomayor said she doesn’t like sitting still.

Student Action, a campus political party centered on student representation, announced Monday its 14 senatorial candidates for the ASUC elections in April.

When Nov. 8 finally arrived, a crowd of campus students and community members convened on Sproul Plaza, watching the results in preparation to celebrate. As traditionally key Democratic states were won over by Donald Trump, however, several gaping faces were aglow in red.
