District 6

As mail-in votes continue to be counted, incumbent Susan Wengraf is leading with 74.56% of the vote for Berkeley City Council District 6 over opponent Richard Illgen, as of press time.

District 6 cannot go wrong with either choice, but Illgen will breathe new life into the council with his desire to implement necessary change in Berkeley.

Berkeley City Council District 6 candidates responded to questions concerning climate change and housing, among other topics, at an Oct. 23 town hall.
