Santa Barbara has loads to offer in terms of great dining experiences, but what was most important to me was returning to these places that I have such fond memories of and reliving them with a new perspective.

As someone who has been taking the Amtrak home since Freshman year, I’ve gained a lot of tips and tricks to make sure your journey is a good one. If you’re planning on traveling using Amtrak anytime soon, here are some things to keep in mind! 

All in all, if you’re staying here in Berkeley for spring break and are looking for something new to do, I highly recommend checking out Emeryville if you haven’t already! It’s super easy to get to, not too far of a commute and definitely worth visiting at least once in your time here at Cal.
