A UC Berkeley chemistry study trained ChatGPT to process large amounts of scientific information related to chemical synthesis and store them in databases.

On May 2, members of the Writers Guild of America, or WGA, dropped their pens and walked out of their writers’ rooms in pursuit of better wages.

Co-founder of artificial intelligence, or AI, tech company OpenAI and research scientist John Schulman spoke at the campus EECS colloquium Wednesday regarding the future of ChatGPT and its AI counterparts. 

What can we do that AI can’t?

As educators and students move forward into this unknown world of technology, there must be a reminder and a gentle push to take time for ourselves and be taught by nature.
