For some students, UC Berkeley’s work-study program has been a source of support amid several challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration awarded BART a $330.8 million COVID-19 relief grant Thursday under the American Rescue Plan. 

Through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, UC Berkeley received $15 million in direct-to-student funding for undergraduate and graduate students.
