Six former Bears all turned pro as the NFL draft concluded on Saturday.

With a night full of anticipation, jubilation and heartbreak just around the corner, here are three Bears with the best shot at making it to the big league.

The four-star prospect was heavily recruited by Cal coming out of high school and certainly has the upside to break out as a member of the blue and gold.

Goode intends to declare for the 2022 NFL Draft, according to the Overtime Sports Management Group (OSMG).

Miscommunications on defense, poor alignments and a truly awful selection of both offensive and defensive play calls left much to be desired. In other words, the Stanford football team had the same abysmal organizational skills as the Stanford band at halftime.

TCU quarterback Max Duggan, who has been lauded for his abilities as both a passer and a runner, was well aware that he had the Bears’ defense on its toes.

The reality is that Daniel Scott ends up where he wants to end up. After all, he sees the game play out before it even happens.

The Bears have parted ways with Tim DeRuyter, the defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach who revolutionized Cal’s defense.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Key players will come and go, but Cal’s 2021 roster will continue to shape up.

The duo led the Bears’ defensive unit to its third consecutive finish as a top-five defense in the Pac-12, and their efforts were recognized in the Pac-12’s yearly awards.
