Berkeley restaurants

I hope that any new students or even old ones will be able to find the same peace and sense of satisfaction that I do when visiting these spots.

Whether I’m grabbing a quick snack between classes or sitting down for a hearty meal with a friend, I always want to make sure I’m having quality food — as I’m sure you do too.

Although working can be a hassle, in the right type of environment, you can make some of your best friends and have an amazing and fun time while making money. 

Recently, my friends and I started a bucket list of things to do and restaurants to try around Berkeley, and I’ve found that the reminder that I have exciting activities to look forward to keeps me motivated and content.

Fourth Street is located in West Berkeley and is super easy to get to. It’s about a 30 minute bus ride from the Southside of campus but it’s well worth it!

As a busy college student, eating out for lunch is a way to save time in between classes but can also break the bank, especially in Berkeley. Luckily, there are a few cheaper places to grab a quick bite to eat around town.

Here on campus, what I miss most about home is my mom’s home-cooked Indian food. Here’s a list of my go-to places for whenever I am craving Indian food!

A popular eatery that opened in 2003, Tacubaya reopened at its new, larger location three weeks ago, two doors down from its former venue at 1788 Fourth St.

Mezzo, formerly known as Cafe Intermezzo, and Raleigh’s restaurants at the intersection of Haste Street and Telegraph Avenue reopened June 27 after a fire destroyed both restaurants in November 2011.
