As the annual April 18 deadline approaches, students are navigating the complexities of tax season. 

Following years of disputes around out-of-state admissions, UC Berkeley’s international students have seen a decrease in their representation on campus and a lack of diversity in their countries of origin and socioeconomic backgrounds. 

The ASUC Senate approved a bill to condemn antisemitism, with nine of 20 of the senators absent in protest of it Wednesday.

Campus freshman Thin Rati Oo is running independently for ASUC Senate on platforms centered on international student issues, pre-law resources and campus life.

Mask mandates and enrollment cuts, among many other topics, were up for discussion at the ASUC Senate’s latest meeting Wednesday.

Across campus, international students are facing challenges seeing their families this winter break — challenges that most U.S. students wouldn’t face.

As campus classes and operations are underway to transition back to fully in-person, some of UC Berkeley’s ASUC senators have alleged that international students continue to be adversely impacted by the pandemic in unique ways. 

As the fall semester approaches, the UC Berkeley community is vocalizing concerns about campus’s transition to in-person learning as the pandemic continues.

As UC Berkeley prepares to return to its first in-person semester since spring 2020, many in-person student services will resume before the fall.

Working as a student has financial and professional benefits. However, for international students, navigating the working world in the United States may be stressful.
