Afternoon tea is not only a delicious meal, but also a fun way to change up your routine and catch up with friends and family.

As we enter the first week of the second month of this year, perhaps we can utilize the new year’s theme of self-improvement to improve our external community. 

Knowing that UC Berkeley has an unmistakably poor diversity of students, with about 3 percent of students being Black, Bell said he felt as though the event might be interpreted as trying too hard to appeal to students. But only time could tell.

Kara Hammond, who was previously Elmwood Cafe’s manager, bought out the business and now oversees its daily operations with co-owner Eric Wright. Hammond emphasized community as one of the pillars the new business is built on.
