The Bears were ruthless in their domination of the Spartans, winning by a final margin of 180 to 66.5.

The Bears’ fiercest, competitor No. 1 University of Texas, posted many NCAA qualifying times, but Cal women’s swim tallied up multiple championship times.

The non-scoring meet will feature swimmers from eight schools that will be given the opportunity to achieve NCAA A-level qualifying times. Cal women’s swim, now ranking No. 14 in Division I of the NCAA, will be among seven other teams competing at this invite.

No. 9 Cal women's swimming dove back into the water this past Friday for a nonconference dual meet against UC San Diego. Cal was back in action for the first time since winning their first two Pac-12 dual meets of the season in mid-October against Utah and Washington State.

Coming off of a two-week break for the Bears, Cal is set to face UC San Diego at the Canyonview Aquatic Center on Friday, November 4.

The Bears are set to swim Utah on Wednesday and Washington State on Saturday, the Bears will be looking to hold their territory against these rivals.

As race day approaches, only confidence and skill will determine whether Cal will be flying down to Atlanta for the NCAA championship.
