The song is a manifestation of her happy place on the beach without a care in the world, and it’s a way of life we all should truly be living. 

It seemed that a lack of familiarity with J.I.D’s music would not have detracted much from the experience. Friday night at Pauley Ballroom saw attendees from all walks of UC Berkeley life, all majors and all years come together as one crowd.

Eagle hopes that when listening to Brick Body Kids Still Daydream, the sentiments promoted will help humanize the people living in these projects and help give way to consideration of these struggling communities in the eyes of the public.

But I did realize that my freshman year of college has marked a start of a significant period in my life — one in which I’ve begun to hear the music that plays behind my dearest memories.
