Since he was young, the star Cal wide receiver has known that his passion lies with football — but his purpose lies with family.

Jack Plummer makes an impressive read and throws across his body in the third-quarter opening drive. However, across the body throws are risky and not something Plummer needs to make a habit of.

While this feat of an entirely female team is something to be marveled at, we hope, as editors, that this will not be the last time. Our place will always be at our sports desk, editing, writing and tensely working away.

What I want to see this year is football players channeling their inner Olivia Jade and posting “What I got in my Cheez-It Bowl goody bag” videos on YouTube.

Anderson is still in his shoulder pads. He’s gentle, a little shy. He doesn’t draw attention to himself. But he doesn’t need to. He’s got an aura about him that demands attention.

A buzz has been generated in Eugene, as Oregon football fans have experienced unexpected success.

You could perhaps say Cal football is in its flop era. It’s dropping balls and throwing games it’s predicted to win.

While the methods I have outlined are not foolproof, they certainly yield worthy results. Cal football, if you are reading this, I urge you to take action.
