Internships Issue 2015

The Daily Californian wanted to find out where Cal students were going over their summers or during the school year for their internships. Though we were able to find students who travelled internationally, we focused on seven students who interned all over California to share their experiences.

The prestige and alumni connections of UC Berkeley might be enough to get you in the door of some companies. Local recruiting agencies say much of the decision process depends upon the employer’s own preferences for brand fit, the position and the potential personal experience and skill set, regardless of alma mater.
