30 Years of ADA 2020

As the COVID-19 pandemic persists and remote learning continues, campus organizations have been working to remotely support students with disabilities and plan for their return to campus.

UC Berkeley's Office of Disability Access and Compliance, or DAC, Accessible Technology Lending Library  was opened this month as part of Disability Awareness Month and the 30th anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, or ADA.

In alignment with this year’s admission of the most ethnically diverse class in more than 30 years, one of the largest minority groups on UC Berkeley's campus, namely students with disabilities, has also seen an increase in admission rates.
