Three members of Berkeley Community Media or BCM, a local public access television station, have resigned citing an unsafe and hostile work environment.

Last week, the University of California finalized the Search Advisory Committee, which was created to find campus Chancellor Carol Christ’s replacement after she announced plans to retire in June 2024.

Landmark Properties, a real estate development company based in Georgia that has developed off-campus student housing across the country, plans to build a 12-story housing project at 2530 Bancroft Way.

UC Berkeley’s Othering and Belonging Institute published a study conducted by its Global Justice Program which focused on how the climate crisis and natural disasters have led to mass displacement.

In collaboration with San Francisco State University, or SFSU, and Project Rebound, the program allows students in the Division of Juvenile Justice to enroll to start an online Ethnic Studies curriculum.

Educators at the UC Berkeley Museum of Paleontology partnered with the University of Kansas Biodiversity Institute in creating a mobile escape room, which educates children and families about the fundamentals of evolutionary biology. 

Researchers at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, or LBNL, found that existing rail networks can be used to transport batteries to places in need; a cost effective solution to power-grid issues.
