A male UC Berkeley student was the victim of a strong-arm robbery of a cell phone at the 2200 block of Channing Way on Thursday night, according to a UCPD Nixle alert issued at 1:11 pm.

BPD spokeperson Officer Byron White said BPD received a call at 6:08 a.m. about a person who was unresponsive, and officers then determined that the person was deceased.
