UC Berkeley employees reported three cases of grand theft on campus last week, according to UCPD Lt. Nicholas Hernandez.

The first theft occurred June 6, when a suspect broke into Richmond Field Station and stole building materials valued at $2,000.

A few days later, another $6,000 in campus property was reported missing due to laptop computer theft in Weill Hall in the afternoon of June 9.

This past Sunday, a third employee reported a $20,000 loss in electrical equipment stolen from Barker Hall.

Hernandez said all three cases are currently under investigation by UCPD.
