The dining hall food is amazing. I can grab a decent meal whenever I want to, and I’m also amazed by the dessert, salad bar, sandwich bar and toast. However, after eating the dining hall food for more than two months, I’m craving some new variations. I hope this article encourages you to make the best out of the dining hall sandwich bar. These are three toast or sandwich recipes that you can make with the ingredients in the dining hall.

Peanut butter & apple sandwich

The combination of peanut butter and apple is marvelous. Just grab an apple from the fruit bar and use the bread and peanut butter in the toast bar in the dining hall.

Total time: five minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • ½ apple
  • 2 spoons of peanut butter

Directions

  1. Put two slices of bread in the toaster for two minutes
  2. Cut ½ apple into thin slices
  3. Add peanut butter to a slice of bread
  4. Add sliced apples to that bread
  5. Put the other slice of bread on top
  6. Cut the sandwich in half and enjoy!
