UCPD is investigating the discovery of a human skeleton in an unoccupied building at Clark Kerr Campus that has been vacant for several years.
Campus police were informed of the skeleton on Tuesday. A cause of death has not yet been determined and an active investigation is underway with the Alameda County Coroner’s Office, according to UCPD spokesperson Sergeant Jacob Westlie.
“We do not anticipate this investigation will disrupt resident activities at the Clark Kerr Campus,” Westlie said in an email.
