Berkeley Police Department arrested a Berkeley High School student June 15 on a charge of sexual assault.
The 15-year-old suspect was arrested at his residence after BPD obtained a Ramey Warrant for his arrest, according to a BPD press release. BPD noted that the alleged assault occurred May 20 at the high school and during school hours, and that the survivor was also a student.
The suspect is currently booked into juvenile hall.
