Man injured in shooting on Seventh Street, transported to hospital

Berkeley Police Department officers , officers found a man, who they confirmed to have been shot, at the 2100 block of Seventh Street.

Berkeley Police Department responded to several reports of gunshots Friday at around 7:09 p.m.
Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered a man lying in the street in the 2100 block of Seventh Street and confirmed the man had been shot, according to BPD Lt. Chris Bonaventure. Bonaventure added the man was transported to a hospital by Berkeley Fire Department after BPD officers performed lifesaving measures.
