UCPD reports residential burglary worth $5K on Haste Street

UCPD reported a burglary that took place Saturday evening at a residence at 2503 Haste St. between 5:36 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.

During the burglary, a total of $5,000 worth of items was stolen, according to UCPD Lt. Sabrina Reich. As of press time, the identity of any suspect is unknown, Reich added.

In an email, UCPD reminded campus community members to take a number of safety precautions to protect their belongings. This includes keeping doors and windows locked, keeping a record of keys issued and reviewing building security protocols, the email added.
