UCPD reported an assault and robbery that took place Sunday evening at the Walgreens on 2310 Telegraph Ave.

At 8:44 p.m., the suspect stole merchandise from the store and assaulted an employee after being confronted, according to an email from UCPD. After leaving the store, the suspect was seen fleeing west on Bancroft Way on foot.
