At 2483 Hearst Ave. sits Berkeley’s paper of record and independent, student-run newspaper, The Daily Californian.
In 2012, the paper moved from the sixth floor of Eshleman Hall to its current home on Hearst Avenue. After nine years in the space and a century and a half in existence, the Daily Cal photo staff celebrates the publication’s 150th anniversary with a look inside the Daily Cal current office, where an array of department cubicles, computers, conference rooms and memorable quotes fill out the space.
The majority of the photographs were shot on color negative film with supplementary digital mediums to commemorate the Daily Cal’s journalistic tenure.
