UCPD responds to report of battery in People's Park

On Feb. 11 at 3:26 p.m., UCPD officers responded to a report of battery via punch and kick that occurred in People's Park.

UCPD officers responded Feb. 11 to a report of battery via punch and kick that occurred in People’s Park.

According to UCPD spokesperson Sgt. Sabrina Reich, an adult male called UCPD claiming to be the victim of the battery at about 3:26 p.m. He reported minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in the area to be treated for an unrelated medical condition, Reich added.

Currently, UCPD has not identified any suspects and the case remains under investigation.
