Two minutes is all it takes to make this delicious milkshake! All you need are three ingredients and a blender, and you’re all set to go. National Chocolate Milkshake Day may be Sept. 12, but after trying this easy recipe, I’ve secretly changed my calendar to have a “National Chocolate Milkshake Day” at least once a week.

So if you’re craving a delicious milkshake, try out this easy and fun recipe to cure your cravings.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • ½ cup milk

Directions

  1. To your blender, add the ice cream, chocolate syrup and milk.
  2. Blend for no more than 2 to 5 seconds. That way, your milkshake has a thicker consistency!
  3. Serve and enjoy!

If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, grab some whipped cream to swirl on top, as well as a chocolate bar to make shavings to sprinkle on top! I used a potato peeler to make chocolate shavings because that was all I had on hand, but any type of grater will work!

The other day, I substituted mint chocolate chip ice cream for vanilla, and oh my, was that a good idea! Honestly, any ice cream will do if you’re looking to change the flavor and spice things up. But I’m warning you … get ready to make another batch for the rest of your family after they hear you slurping away over this one.

This is by far one of the easiest, best and most delicious chocolate milkshake recipes you will ever come across, so get ready to be amazed. Who knew two minutes would be all it takes to make a delicious chocolate shake?
