Ever since it appeared on Netflix a few weeks ago, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” has had everybody pretending they have the power to control air by making some cool hand movements whenever a fierce wind blows in. Unfortunately, we college students don’t actually have the power to control any of the elements from “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” But what if we did? Take this quiz to determine which element you would bend based on what kind of UC Berkeley student you are.

   1. The library. Campus is not for “hanging out.”

   1. Tests are the only way for me to truly prove my honor.

   1. I’m an important member of a consulting club and have no time for other activities.
   2. I’m part of Kesem, and I tutor on the side.
   3. Sports are the only activity for me. How else can I get my energy out?
   4. I like to be free-flowing. I’m not tethered to any one club.
5. Why did you choose to study at UC Berkeley?
   1. It’s the No. 1 public university; where else would I want to be?
   2. I’ve always dreamed about coming to this beautiful campus.
   3. I wanted a school with a real football team and pride.
   4. It just felt right!
6. What’s your favorite study snack?
   1. Anything spicy!
   2. A warm drink, such as coffee or tea.
   3. A high-protein, low-carb option.
   4. Anything plant-based! I’m vegan.
7. 1. You’re a firebender! You’re fierce and competitive, and grades are your top priority. Like Zuko, you want to uphold your honor and won’t take a failing grade without a fight. Most of your activities are to give you work experience and pad your resume, but once you catch the Avatar — I mean, get into Haas — it’ll all have been worth it.
   2. You’re a waterbender! You’re a great student! Like Katara, you’re very diligent and hardworking — and a little bit of a goody-goody. You love to supplement your studying with volunteering and activities that serve a purpose to other people, and you love spending time in nature, especially water.
   3. You’re an earthbender! You have a lot of energy and to get it out, you’re involved in club sports and a lot of other outdoor activities. Like Toph, you don’t have a ton of patience for quietly sitting indoors studying. You’d much rather be kicking a soccer ball around or trying to make rocks move. OK, maybe the rock thing is just for Toph.
   4. You’re an airbender! You’re very go-with-the-flow, and you spend a lot of time hanging out on the Glade or in the College of Natural Resources. You just like to go wherever the breeze takes you, and you’re a vegetarian, just like Aang! You hope to do something that changes the world, and you trust that your path will take you there.
