Cal Day is an annual celebration that incoming students, current students and the UC Berkeley community longingly await all year. Cal Day 2020, however, has been made virtual, and with that, hopes of a fun Cal Day have diminished. We would like to remind you that this setback should not keep you from living your best Golden Bear life during these trying times; on April 18, we should be more proud than ever to be UC Berkeley students and a part of the broader UC Berkeley community.
The Daily Californian has produced a special Cal Day 2020 issue to keep the Cal Day spirit alive among us all — no matter what your coordinates may be. Read about students reflecting on their first or last year at UC Berkeley, how to celebrate Cal Day from home and what to look forward to in the future. However you choose to celebrate Cal Day this year, we hope you’re keeping safe and healthy. Here’s to a pixel perfect Cal Day! Go Bears!
