Collision with power pole causes North Berkeley intersection closure

The Berkeley Police Department reported a road closure at Hopkins Street and Monterey Avenue in North Berkeley on Friday morning, after a semitruck collided with a power pole at about 7:41 a.m., requiring repairs.

According to a Nixle Alert, PG&E responded to repair the pole, closing the intersection.
