To build a home — regardless of the size, the location or the people you live with — is not an easy feat, especially when you also have to deal with the stress of being a UC Berkeley student. Every year, thousands of students compete to find affordable housing amid the complicated housing crisis that has permeated the streets of Berkeley for years. From deciding where you want to live to choosing who you want to live with, to setting a budget, to figuring out proximity to school and transportation, there are many important factors that go into housing.

Whether this is your first or fourth time partaking in the search for housing in Berkeley, we’ve compiled a collection of articles to help you navigate the complicated terrain that surrounds Berkeley housing. Look through our issue and read about being sexiled, Northside versus Southside housing, the life of a commuter student and more! The Bears are in the house, and we’re feeling cozier than ever.
