A healthy sushi-inspired nourish bowl recipe

Sushi, without a doubt, is one of the most delicious foods in the world. Combining a veggie-packed nourish bowl with the fantastic flavors found in sushi might be a match made in heaven! Here is a recipe for creating a yummy sushi-inspired nourish bowl to liven up your weekly lunch or dinner routine. Keep reading to find out how to create this delicious dish!

Bowl ingredients

2 cups spinach or mixed greens

1 serving of fresh sashimi (or homemade crab cakes if you want to get fancy!)

½ cup steamed zucchini and broccolini

3 small sheets of baked seaweed

½ cup steamed edamame

Dressing ingredients

2 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp tamari

¼ tsp chopped ginger

¼ tsp chopped garlic

½ tsp maple syrup

A squeeze of lemon juice

Directions

Start by mixing together all the ingredients for your dressing in a small cup, then set it aside. Next, mix all the ingredients for your nourish bowl in a large bowl. Drizzle the dressing on top and dig in!

This nourish bowl is packed with flavor! Your tastebuds can experience umami from the seaweed, delicate saltiness from the seafood and some crunch from the steamed veggies. It’s healthy, delicious and will make you full in no time. Whenever you’re unsure of what to make for lunch or dinner, this bowl is your best bet. Now head into the kitchen and enjoy!
