Berkeley experiences 4.5 magnitude earthquake

A 4.5 magnitude earthquake occurred about 10:33 p.m. Monday night, about one mile south of Pleasant Hill.

The earthquake was felt throughout East Bay, including Berkeley, where its impact was categorized as being of weak intensity, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake was preceded by several others, including a 2.5 earthquake that shook the same region 10 minutes prior.

So far, according to CBS San Francisco, there have been no reports of injury or damage.
